Sony PJ30 HD Digital Video Camera: Features and Video | Sony video cameras | HD digital video camera | Sony Digital Camera Dealers in Sri Lanka | Video camera display features

Starting with the technical features, the Sony is a camcorder PJ30 AVCHD, which can record pictures in 1080 at 25p or 50i, 720p or standard definition with 5.1 sound. It has 32 GB of memory and an integrated GPS receiver which allows you to geotag videos, allowing you then to venture them on a map with the location data.

As for the scope, there’s a wide-angle Sony G Lens 29.8 mm (equivalent to 35 mm), geared up with 12x optical zoom and optical picture stabilizer. The photographs are captured by a sensor Exmor CMOS 4.5mm and 7.1-megapixel (2.6 efficient in video mode).

But the distinguishing option of this camera is within the pico-projector DLP integrated, in a position to challenge an image up to 60 inches at a distance of 3 meters. The projector is located on the opposite aspect of the panel on which there’s also a LCD touch screen, which the in fact has a markedly thicker than the other cameras on the market .

Next to the LCD are also two stereo audio system for audio playback. Among the more features there may be Spotlight, which lets users make fast montages with music and transitions, always working on the camera.

The projector uses RGB LEDs and has a resolution of 640×360 pixels. This data tells us that the projector is designed for extra rapid and practical vision for high quality projections. The digital camera is equipped with HDMI (Type C mini connector), USB, microphone connector, analog audio / video output and headphone jack.

Free Tools for Web Application Penetration Security Testing | All Proxy Tools and Vulnerability Detection Web App Security Testing Tools Free of cost

The good part is there are powerful and free web application security testing tools which can help you to identify any possible holes.

Before presenting them, let's remind the classic: "something can be secure as only as its weakest link" (which also tells us that it is not always the application and can still be the server it is hosted or that easy to remember FTP password).

This is the free-community edition of the powerful Netsparker which still comes with a bunch of features and also false-positive-free.

The application can detect SQL Injection + cross-site scripting issues.

Once a scan is complete, it displays the solutions besides the issues and enables you to see the browser view and HTTP request/response.

Websecurify (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

Websecurify is a very easy-to-use and open source tool which automatically identifies web application vulnerabilities by using advanced discovery and fuzzing technologies.

It can create simple reports (that can be exported into multiple formats) once ran.

The tool is also multilingual and extensible with the add-on support.

Wapiti (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

Wapiti is an open source and web-based tool that scans the web pages of the deployed web applications, looking for scripts and forms where it can inject data.

It is built with Python and can detect:

    File handling errors (Local and remote include/require, fopen, readfile…)
    Database, XSS, LDAP and CRLF injections (HTTP response splitting, session fixation…)
    Command execution detection (eval(), system(), passtru()…)

N-Stalker Free Version (Windows)

The free edition performs restricted-yet-still-powerful set of web security assessment checks compared to the paid versions of the application.

It can check up to 100 web pages at once including web server and cross-site scripting checks.

skipfish (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

skipfish is a fully automated and active web application security reconnaissance tool.

It is lightweight and pretty fast (can perform 2000 requests/second).

The application has automatic learning capabilities, on-the-fly wordlist creation and form autocompletion.

skipfish comes with low false positive, differential security checks which are capable of spotting a range of subtle flaws, including blind injection vectors.

Scrawlr (Windows)

Scrawlr is a free software for scanning SQL injection vulnerabilities on your web applications.

It is developed by HP Web Security Research Group in coordination with Microsoft Security Response Center.

Watcher (Windows)

It is a plugin for Fiddler (the awesome HTTP debugging proxy) and works as a passive-analysis tool for HTTP-based web applications.

Watcher runs silently in the background and interact with the web-application to apply 30+ tests (where new ones can be added) while you browse.

It will identify issues like cross-domain form POSTs, dangerous context-switching between HTTP and HTTPS, etc.

x5s (Windows)

x5s is again a plugin for Fiddler just like Watcher which is designed to find encoding and character transformation issues that can lead to XSS vulnerability.

It simply tests user-controlled input using special characters like <, >, ', and reviews how the output encodes the special characters.

Exploit-Me (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

Rather than using a proxy like most of the security testing tools, Exploit-Me directly integrates into Firefox.

It is a set of 3 add-ons:

    XSS-Me: for testing reflected XSS vulnerabilities
    SQL Inject Me: for testing SQL injection vulnerabilities
    Access-Me: for testing access vulnerabilities

They are all lightweight , work while you browse websites and simply inform you by adding extra styles to the objects with vulnerabilities

WebScarab (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

WebScarab is actually a proxy to sniff the HTTP(s) traffic and manipulate it.

However, it comes with features like "parameter fuzzer (for testing XSS and SQL injection vulnerabilities), or "CRLF injection (HTTP response splitting)" and more.

Acunetix Free Version (Windows)

This is the free and limited-featured version of a paid/pro product.

It performs a check on any website and identifies cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities.

And, if you are looking to improve yourself in the area of web application security and need to play with an application legally, there is DVWA (damn vulnerable web app.) which is there for just this purpose.

WebCruiser – Web Vulnerability Scanner Free Edition

WebCruiser – Web Vulnerability Scanner, a compact but powerful web security scanning tool! It has a Crawler and Vulnerability Scanner(SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, XPath Injection etc. ).

It can support scanning website as well as POC( Prooving of concept) for web vulnerabilities: SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, XPath Injection etc. So, WebCruiser is also a SQL Injector, a XPath Injector , and a Cross Site Scripting tool!

Function:
* Crawler(Site Directories And Files);
* Vulnerability Scanner(SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, XPath Injection etc.);
* POC(Proof of Concept): SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, XPath Injection etc.;
* GET/Post/Cookie Injection;
* SQL Server: PlainText/FieldEcho(Union)/Blind Injection;
* MySQL/Oracle/DB2/Access: FieldEcho(Union)/Blind Injection;
* Administration Entrance Search;

Which brand of soap was developed accidentally when a workman introduced bubbles in the soap?

IVORY SOAP

In the development stages, Ivory Soap was called White Soap. Harley Procter named the soap 'Ivory' from a biblical verse that he heard while listening to a sermon.

At about the same time that Colgate & Co. introduced a perfumed soap called Cashmere Bouquet, William Procter and James Gamble decided to begin business together in Cincinnati. These two men began their fortune by selling candles and soap from a wheelbarrow. It did not too long before Procter and Gamble was delivering large quantities to major cities such as Memphis, Pittsburgh, and Louisville. Ivory soap was introduced to the marketplace in 1879.

Did you every wonder why Ivory Soap floats? In the development stages, James N. Gamble called it "˜White Soap'. James Gamble and his associates finally perfected the formula for the "White Soap" in 1878. At first, the name of this soap was going to be called P&G White Soap, but Harley Procter decided to give the soap a name that people could remember. Procter attempted numerous times to find an appropriate name for the soap.

The concept of soap that floats was rumored to have been encountered by accident. The story goes that Harley Procter named the soap "˜Ivory' from a biblical verse (Psalm 45) church: "All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia, out of the ivory palaces whereby they have made me glad." In 1878, the formula for the "White Soap" was created. Several months later the accident occurred. Without thinking one of the workmen left to go to lunch and the machinery was still running. Since the machinery was left in operation, air would work its way into the mixture. The workman decided not to discard the mixture after discussing with his supervisor. Instead he poured mixture into frames and the soap hardened. Interestingly enough it was cut, packaged, and shipped.

Amazingly, Procter & Gamble began to receive letters from buyers of this "accidental" soap. They wanted more of the soap that floats! Even though this interesting formula was one of their best products, they were perplexed as to how this happened. The mysterious formula for the floating soap was resolved when the lunchtime accident was revealed.

The error the workman made became Procter & Gamble's new product. Why was this product so popular? Some people were known to bathe in the Ohio River and the floating soap would never get lost. Ivory Soap became a best seller due to a workman's error. Proctor & Gamble makes the floating soap by intentionally adding a small amount of air in the formula. Naturally, this allows the soap to be lighter than water.

Since Proctor wanted to produce pure soap, a chemical analysis of the soap had to be done. Up to this time, there was not a standard for purity of soap. Therefore, Harley decided to locate an independent scientific consultant or chemist in New York to develop a standard for the purity of soap. The chemist found that in order soap to be 100% pure, the constituents would have to be fatty acids and alkali.

It was found by a chemist that the 56/100 of the ingredients did not fall in the pure soap category. In 1882, an Ivory advertisement appeared that stated the slogan "99-44/100% Pure". This calculation was created by Proctor in which 56 was subtracted from 100 to account for a result of 44. The 56 consisted of the following impurities: uncombined alkali, 0.11%; carbonates, 0.28%; and mineral matter, 0.17%.

Keeping the Ivory Soap bars away from extreme heat or cold will affect the bar's fragrance. It is recommended that the bars to be kept in their original wrappers to make the fragrance last longer. Ivory also recommends that using warm to hot water and/or soft or conditioned water will create a rich lather.

You may also want to keep the shower spray away from the Ivory soap. With the shower spray continually coming in contact with the bar of soap, it will affect the lathering.

A good idea to make the bar last longer is to let the bar dry between uses. Consider using two bars of soap that you can alternate. Put the bar(s) in a soap dish with points in the center. The points allow the bar to dry and air to circulate.

Top 3 Most respected companies in India - Survey Results of Business World Magazine

In the Businessworld (BW) Survey conducted to find out 3 Most Respected Companies in India, Infosys has made it to No. 1 position once again. In fact, Infosys’s overall score is almost 50 per cent more than the second company in the ranking, L&T. TCS secured thrid position in the rankings.

Infosys Technologies:
Infosys CEO-S. Gopalakrishnan

CEO and MD: S. Gopalakrishnan

Ever since Infosys Technologies under N.R. Narayana Murthy first became India’s most respected company in 2001 a time that coincided with the emergence of the country’s IT services warriors it has made the position its own. This is commendable given that while revenues and profits can be measured, respect is an intangible, abstract commodity that is earned through both performance and behaviour. And to maintain that for more than a decade is even tougher.

Now helmed by S. Gopalakrishnan, the Bangalore-based IT giant has also retained top billing in the unprompted rankings, and peers voted for it as the company that handled the economic downturn the best. Year 2009-10 saw  Infosys’s revenues and profits record marginal growth, but the company lost none of its sheen. For the future, says Gopalakrishnan, the model is to move towards IP (intellectual property) creation in terms of products or productised services, which he expects will comprise a third of the company’s revenues in five years.

Larsen & Toubro

L&T CEO-A.M. Naik

Chairman and MD: A.M. Naik

Mumbai-based infrastructure giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has jumped eight places to second position, from No. 10 in 2007, when the previous edition of the survey was held. The leap did not happen by chance. Its revenues grew at a CAGR of 28.2 per cent between 2006-07 and 2009-10, from Rs 17,578.84 crore to Rs 37,034.80 crore. Net profits grew at a CAGR of 46 per cent, from Rs 1,403.02 crore to Rs 4,375.52 crore.

L&T is unique it belongs neither to a promoter group nor the government. It is a widely held, professionally run company (where employees have more than 12 per cent stake). A major restructuring initiative  designed by management consultants McKinsey and Bain & Co. has been undertaken to help it reach revenues of about Rs 2 lakh crore in a decade. L&T is now divided into nine verticals heavy engineering, hydrocarbon, machinery and industrial products, water, power equipment, infrastructure, metals and minerals, electrical and automation, and mechanical and industrial products each with its own CEO and board of directors. Then there are two large subsidiaries, L&T Finance and L&T Infotech. Whether L&T will reach its stated goal depends on its order book, which now stands at Rs 1.14 lakh crore.

Tata Consultancy Services
TCS CEO:N. Chandrasekaran

N. Chandrasekaran, CEO and MD of TCS

In October 2009, when former CEO S.  Ramadorai formally stepped down, IT services outsourcing was reeling under the impact of the global financial crisis. However, despite significantly depressed spends by customers of IT services, TCS closed FY2009-10 with a 33.2 per cent growth in net profits at Rs 7,001 crore. Revenues grew 8 per cent to Rs 30,029 crore.

While nearly 50 per cent of the Mumbai-based company’s revenues still come from traditional ADM (application development and maintenance) services, it is gaining ground in new areas. Engineering and industrial solutions, a strategic business unit set up a few years ago, accounted for 5 per cent of revenues in 2009-10. But consulting services still remain small at less than 2 per cent of overall revenues. However, the push into new areas such as cloud-based (on-demand software) solutions for small and medium enterprises  is clearly going to be a priority for the company. Mobile computing is also another big focus area.
