Silambarasan's next venture Podaa Podi has Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalaxmi playing the leading role.

The picturization of the songs took place in London. The film will be a romantic musical.
Varalakshmi plays a role of salsa dancer and the movie is progressing fast. Dharan composes music while camera is handled by Nirav Shah.
Podaa Podi is expected to be released in 2011.
