One of the hottest TV couples, Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu from Colors Uttaran, who have been dating for almost a year with the actor proposing her only sometime back, have tied the knot secretly in Ghaziabad.
Apparently, the two went to Delhi for an award ceremony where Rashmi was to be felicitated and the marriage that followed came as a huge surprise to their near and dear ones. Our source got to know about it and contacted the couple, who sweetly agreed to speak about their marriage.
Nandish says, “I had gone with Rashmi, who was accompained by her family, to support her. I had called my parents to meet her family. That’s when the topic of marriage surfaced as my grandmother who’s been unwell for sometime now asked me to get married. Keeping in mind her frail health, we got married on 9 February and returned to Mumbai”.
So when can a lavish wedding be expected? An elated Rashmi said, “It would not before the end of this year or the beginning of next year. A proper wedding involves a lot of preparation so we will take sometime to plan it”.
The actress who was all set to quit the serial has now decided to continue with it. She says, “I had given them the notice three months ago but things have been sorted out and I am continuing with Uttaran”.
