March 16th 2010 : Chaitra Vasant Navratri from March 16 2010 to March 24 2010. Vasanta Navratri comes in the month of Chaitra (March - April). Navratri means nine nights.

During the nine nights and days of Goddess Durga, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswathi are worshiped with great devotion. This Navaratri is also known as Rama Navaratri.

On the Ninth day of this Navaratri, March 24th 2010 is celebrated as Rama Navami. All special abhishekam, puja and Aarti is held for the Goddess Shakthi during these all nine days.
