The Winter X Games will be at Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado January 27-30, 2011. The annual event highlights more than 200 ski, snowboard, and snowmobile athletes from around the world competing for medals and prize money. All of the Winter X Games competitions will take place at Buttermilk Mountain.
The Winter X Games often showcase new tricks and spectacular falls. At last year’s X Games, Shaun White took a jarring slam to the head, but STILL came back to win the gold medal for the event.

Cost: The event is Free to the public.
* All events are free. However, if you plan to attend competitions on the mountain you will need to purchase a lift ticket.
Concert: In addition to the action at Buttermilk, there will be a free concert at the base of Aspen Mountain featuring Big Boi on Saturday, January 29 at 5:30 PM.
TV Coverage: ESPN will have 24 hours of live HD programming on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3.com, plus 10 additional hours of live coverage on ESPN3.com and 18 hours of original coverage on ESPN 3D.
