California Superstorm. U.S. Geological Survey scientists predicted that a California superstorm may happen in the future. Based on a prediction model, Geological Survey director Marcia K. McNutt told the New York Times that the storm could last for more than 40 days and dump 10 feet of water on the state and could cause $300 billion to $400 billion in damages.

California’s geological history shows such “superstorms” have happened in the past, and should be added to the long list of natural disasters to worry about in the Golden State.? Yahoo News and many other outlets have released an article detailing a ‘super storm’ coming to California.

Acording to theweatherspace.com, these rumors are false.

“The titles are premature and irresponsible”, said TWS Meteorologist Kevin Martin. “Any outlet that deems scares the living daylights out of the public with false titles should lose credibility. The fact is, it is a scenario, not an actual storm coming as we speak”.

So the real story is that the scientists were playing out various scenarios in a simulation software. Relax everyone, no need to start building that ark now.
