List of tsunami and earthquake victims in Japan continues to grow. Reported that at least 310 people were killed, 350 missing and 544 people injured after 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan today.
“The death toll includes 200-300 people killed who was found in the city of Sendai,” said local police spokesman as reported by AFP on Friday (March 11, 2011).
Previously, about 200-300 corpses were found around the coast in the city of Sendai, Japan.
The news agencies of Kyodo and Jiji Press said that the corpses were found in the area of Wakabayashi, Sendai, following the massive earthquake that eventually cause a tsunami.
From the victims were killed, 34 people were found in the area of Iwate, near the epicenter, the police said. Three people were killed in Tokyo.
